My autumn on Instagram

After my Instagram summer review, it’s already time for an autumn review. Do you sometimes have the feeling that this year just rushes past you? It helps me to scroll through my own Instagram feed from time to time and remind myself of the great places I’ve been. Instagram is also great for future travel inspiration. My plans for next year have definitely been heavily influenced by this photo app… People keep asking me what I use to take the photos I post on Instagram. All the pictures you see here were taken with my Sony Xperia Z. Personally, I think the quality is quite decent – but I don’t have a 1:1 comparison to an iPhone.

In any case, my autumn was incredibly diverse. In September, for example, we had an extreme altitude contrast program. First we spent a few days in the shallow North Sea before we “hunted” mountain lakes in Zermatt.

This was followed by a trip to Ireland at the beginning of October. Although five days are definitely too short for this magical island, the time was enough to infect me with the Ireland travel fever. An evergreen fairytale landscape, great food and nice people. Ireland, I’ll be back.

After Ireland, there was an abrupt change of scenery. I ended up in Thuringia, where I first discovered the beautiful sides of Erfurt and then slept through the onion market in Weimar. Not a big deal, because instead I discovered the magical, autumnal park on the Ilm in Weimar.

Back from Thuringia, I used the time to enjoy autumn in Switzerland. It’s not true that there is no Indian Summer in Switzerland – you just have to look for it.

But even the most beautiful autumn has to leave the place to winter at some point. Yesterday was the day. We are on our way to the winter wonderland and you can look forward to the new season with us – Travelita’s Winter will be sensational! More on all winter plans will follow next Friday

Before that, I would be happy to know your autumn highlights? Where and when was your autumn at its best?
