Architecture tour of the French Quarter of New Orleans

New Orleans was a real architectural magic box for me – and not only in the French Quarter. If I had had an analogue camera with me, my first film would probably have been over after the first 100 meters. This unbelievable attention to detail, which can be admired especially in the balconies, is ravishing. Most of the buildings date back to the French and Spanish colonial periods and are surprisingly well preserved. Well, I don’t think I have to say much more about it. Just follow me on my house treasure hunt.
