Indian Summer Flashback Switzerland

October is already over and because of all the gray November dreariness I almost forgot what great, colorful autumn days I experienced. In Switzerland, you can also experience great Indian summer moments when the weather is nice. All the pictures I show you here were taken with my Sony Xperia on the road. For this reason, the quality is rather poor, but they show nice snapshots.

In the Bernese Oberland and the Emmental, you can marvel at the following beautifully coloured landscapes when the sun is shining.

The vineyards in French-speaking Switzerland also create an incredibly beautiful overall picture with a wide variety of colour nuances. In my opinion, the Lavaux region on Lake Geneva and the right bank of Lake Biel are particularly worth seeing. By the way, on many farms you can help with the grape harvest and experience a piece of culture live in the middle of a beautiful landscape.

Also part of autumn are the fresh, crunchy apples, from which you can prepare wonderful desserts or apple juice.

The beauty of autumn can be found not only in nature, but also in towns and villages.

I still have an “insider tip”: I think the most beautiful colors in Switzerland can be found in the Mattertal. The pine forests between Visp and Zermatt between steep rock faces look simply beautiful! I hope that I can cheer up your Friday with so much “color” :-).
