#Fromwhattheysee – the stalker hashtag

Do you know that – you are out and about in a city with your camera, photographing something and suddenly someone else is standing right next to you who is photographing exactly the same subject. In the best case, the person only watches you from a distance and takes over your photo post almost secretly when you have cleared the field. In the worst case – and yes, this has happened to me too – the person will stand directly IN front of you and stand in your way. This is probably how the hashtag fromwhattheysee came about.

In this way, annoying people can be used as the main actors in one’s own image without them noticing. Some images suddenly come to life when people are integrated. In addition, it can also be quite interesting to sit on a bench and simply observe what other people are looking at. Where does their gaze linger? What is being pointed to? What is being discussed. In this way, you also get to know familiar places from completely different perspectives.
