Travelita’s autumn – golden prospects
And it’s over again, the sweet summer… But let’s not be sad about it. Autumn will be golden, I’m confident about that. After travelling all over Switzerland in the summer (with two detours to Austria), I am drawn a little further away again in autumn. This is what is on my travel program for the next two months:
Merano, South Tyrol
Yes lovelies, while you are reading this, I am enjoying my breakfast high above Merano. After I had already declared South Tyrol as my travel destinations for 2013 in 2012, it is done. You can read more about this trip here next week.
Hamburg and the Halligen, Germany
Next week we will continue with another travel highlight. During five days (yes I know – way too short) we will first visit the biosphere reserve of the Halligen and then Hamburg. On the Halligen, we can expect a life to the rhythm of ebb and flow, lots of nature and hopefully unforgettable sunsets. Since there are only about 25 hours left for Hamburg, I depend on your tips! What is a must-see? :)
Burgenland, Austria
Yes, Austria again, but this time in a completely different corner. We can expect a long weekend with a lot of wellness (more will not be revealed at this point) and enough time to explore the surroundings. You might even be able to take a day trip to Graz. What do you think is a must-see in this area?
Dublin, Ireland
From the 3rd to the 4th of October the TBEX will take place in Dublin and I will be there. Although, I’ve had the tickets since spring and in the meantime I’m undecided whether the whole thing won’t be a size too big for me. In any case, we will travel to Dublin and then spontaneously decide how seriously we take the conference, or whether we would rather discover the beauties of Ireland.
Erfurt and Weimar, Germany
In the middle of October I will visit two German cities that are completely unknown to me. In Weimar we will visit the famous Ziebelmarkt (which even made it onto the 55-vor-30 list of Lilies Diary! ;)). I’m also looking forward to a Bauhaus tour and a lot of culture. To the Weimar connoisseurs among you – what should be on the to-see list?
Mountains and Friends
Despite the many travel plans, there is also some time to indulge my passion for the mountains. At least two hikes are planned – one in Valais and one in the Bernese Oberland – more will not be revealed at this point. In addition, a girls-travel-blogger-three-country meeting with the lovely Jana from ITBGlobetrotter and the lovely Christina from Hallo-Welt is planned.
And where are you going in autumn? Will our paths cross? :)
