Insta-Autumn: Travel snapshots & plans

Hey, we’ve just been to the Insta summer review and winter is just around the corner. Before I dedicate myself to the #mymagicwinterdays at the beginning of next month, I would like to show you my Instagram snapshots from autumn.

In September and October we got around quite a bit. Three times we went into the mountains. From the still lush green Lauterbrunnen Valley to the beautiful Glarus region and in mid-October to the autumnal Simplon area. We also hiked on the flower island of Madeira – as a souvenir we brought home a pair of wet shoes. We flew to Lausanne twice. Once to eat well and once to explore the city beautifully bedded. In St. Gallen we also had an excellent meal. Shortly after our stay, the Einstein Gourmet was even awarded a Michelin star. And somewhere between Hü and Hott, a culinary mission took us to the beautiful Zurich wine country. On the last two trips of the month, we discovered Basel from its cultural side and explored the scenic beauty of Andalusia.

So, how is the year-end spurt going? I don’t get bored. This weekend I’m going to Valais again (I’ve been there quite often this year) and then to a #instahike in Heidiland. Admittedly, I’m not a big fan of so-called Instameets – too many people who photograph the same motifs (the individualist of the zodiac sign Aquarius pushes through with me – my mom used to say “antisocial” ;)), but for a hike to the Murg lakes in a small, fine group, I like to jump over my shadow. After that, there is a wellness weekend to relax and towards the end of the month we go back to an island. December starts with a girls’ weekend in Rome and then it’s off to the Christmas market in Graz. Shortly before Christmas, the ski equipment is dutifully taken out of the attic. The first ski trip of the 2015/2016 season takes us to the Aosta Valley and over New Year’s Eve we fly to St. Petersburg – if the complicated visa story works out.

Ah, exciting times! And I’m happy to let you travel with me virtually.
