My winter on Instagram

The winter season has only just begun and yet I’ve already experienced a lot in the snow and since this week’s Frifoto theme on Twitter is Snow/Ice, I thought I’d show you my Instagram winter interim results :-). By the way, if you’re reading this article, I’m currently enjoying my next snow adventure with Bergwinter Tirol experience & report on the Axumer Lizum in beautiful Tyrol.

1. The winter of 2012/2013 started with a snow blessing in Switzerland and transformed our garden into a little winter wonderland:

2. To really enjoy the beautiful winter landscape, I got on the train on a beautiful Saturday morning and drove across Switzerland:

3. Afterwards, as usual, the great thaw set in over Christmas. For this reason, I said goodbye to the green plains over Christmas and drove to the white Valais mountains:

4. In the new year we were greeted with fog in Adelboden, in the Bernese Oberland. Have you ever skied with a maximum visibility of about 20 meters? I can guarantee you, it’s a really big challenge…

5. Last week we had a wonderful morning in Kiental, also in the Bernese Oberland.
