A day in an almost island paradise

Yes, we were on a cruise and yes, I stand by it! It is often my experience that people classify this as an activity that should not be done under the age of 65. Be that as it may, we did it anyway and we liked it. The great thing about cruises is that you can comfortably sail from island to island and get to see a lot in a short time.

This time, we’ve ventured into a classic – a three-day mini-cruise on Royal Caribbean from Miami to the Bahamas. We spent the first day on the private island of Coco Cay. Well, honestly, despite the crystal clear water, the island didn’t quite meet my dream island requirements. Too few palm trees and too many people. Only at Barefoot Beach, you can enjoy the sun’s rays in quiet surroundings. Nevertheless, the day was quite fun, as we ventured on a kayak tour across the sea. You can see what this adventure looked like here.

And now the Saturday question – what would your dream island look like?
