What’s hiding in my hand luggage

I’ve already given you a glimpse of my handbag. The corresponding article can be found here. You can also develop further when it comes to packing, and that’s why I’ve added new indispensable items since then, which I would now like to introduce to you.

In addition to the usual travel essentials, such as wallet with money and all the thousands of plastic cards, mobile phone, tissues (very important), iPod for the right tact… I have three brand new carry-on favorites.

Let’s start with the packaging – for years, whether they wanted to hear it or not, I told everyone that I wanted to buy a Longchamp travel bag. After talking about it for what feels like ten years now, this has finally been put into practice and this pretty blue bag is now one of my hand luggage standards. What’s so famous about this bag? Well, it’s light, reduced to the bare essentials, offers great space and you can fold it up after use and store it in your suitcase. Ideal for all of you who like to buy something on the go, but actually don’t have any more space in your suitcase.

Another must-have companion that has only recently started to appear in my carry-on luggage is the Sony RX100. This is my camera for all occasions. Most of the photos you see here are taken with a Canon D600, but there’s nothing like a compact camera that you can easily take anywhere. In addition, I take almost all food photos with the Sony, because I can achieve great blurring effects with one click without setting much. Definitely a camera for “dummies” or lazy people – and yes, I stand by it :).

My last indispensable object, on the other hand, always requires some mental work. Because when I travel by plane, I always have to repack it from my handbag to my suitcase. I received the pocket knife from my alma mater for my graduation ceremony (let’s be honest, who gets a pocket knife from their university…). Since then, this all-rounder has been taken absolutely everywhere and has already helped me open bottles, cut nails, grease bread and cut apple slices.

Now that I have revealed to you the innermost secrets of my hand luggage, I am of course surprised what is hidden in your hand luggage? I’m looking forward to all your comments and “confessions” :).

You can enjoy this post, because some time ago Claudi from Claudi around the world threw me a so-called blog stick (let’s be honest, who invented this name?!) on this topic. Thank you very much for this!
