Brussels in one day – photo spots and viewpoints
When we went city hopping in Belgium two years ago, we left the capital Brussels on the left. Instead, we looked at Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges and immediately fell in love with Ghent. When the friend spontaneously bought tickets for the Switzerland-France football match in Lille this June, the quickest way to get there was via Brussels to the capital of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. And so the journey was scheduled for the Friday before the game (which took place on Sunday evening in Lille) in order to have a quick look at Brussels. From the Manneken Pis to the waffles to the moules-frites, he has made the classic tourist program of a first-time visitor and captured a few cool impressions that I don’t want to withhold from you. What I like best are the pictures from the Atomium – I would like to visit them myself. And since this time the detailed tips fall by the wayside (the boyfriend likes to take pictures, but shies away from writing) I have two more link tips for Brussels:
- Yvonne shows tips away from the tourist hotspots
- Nina’s video makes you want to spend a weekend in Brussels
and here are the impressions of a day in the Belgian capital.
