InstaTrip – Lapland in a square
Back from Lapland, on the way to Berlin and with his head already in Oman. That’s about how my current state can be summed up. Before the detailed road trip report of our Lapland trip follows, I first have to sort the pictures. Although we select the images every day and sort them out hard, the final selection for the blog posts still takes time. That’s why today I’m going to show you my Instagram pictures, all of which I took with my smartphone (since some people asked on Instagram: Samsung Galaxy S6). From Levi we drove via Kilpisjärvi to Tromsø. From there, with a stop at the Lyngenfjord, we continued north to Alta and then via Inari-Saariselkä back to Levi / Kittilä. In the first two days and at the Lyngenfjord we had great light. Towards the end of the journey, the grey cloud cover dominated, but Levi with his fir trees thickly covered in snow offered great white-on-white motifs.

When it comes to shoveling snow, they are world-class here
Cabin with a view – if I write a book, I’ll come back here

The great glass igloos
typical “warm-up hut” somewhere in the middle of nowhere
I would have loved to pack them all up
