Verzasca Valley – the most beautiful places and excursions
The Verzasca Valley is known for the Roman bridges in Lavertezzo, which is considered one of the most beautiful places in Ticino. But it’s worth discovering the entire Valle Verzasca, be it on a hike or swimming in the river.

At the end of the valley there is a 220 meter high dam, which was made famous by the James Bond film “GoldenEye”.
Swimming in the Verzasca Valley
There are many beautiful swimming spots in this beautiful Ticino valley. The most famous place for swimming fun is in Lavertezzo at the Pozzo dei Salti. But it’s worth hiking a little further into the valley to escape the crowds bathing right by the bridge.
