Travel snapshot – Dublin by night

I suspect that Dublin never sleeps. The later the hour, the more exuberant the party is around the Temple Bar. It goes without saying that Guinness is drunk. That’s all I can say about the nightlife, because you probably know: I like to sleep :) (and the windows from our hotel room just around the corner to the Temple Bar were luckily tight).

But before you dive into Temple Bar, you should stop by the River Liffey. We were incredibly annoyed that we missed the most beautiful sunset ever. How do I know that the sunset was so beautiful? Well, other travel bloggers somehow had the photo timing better under control and uploaded all the great photos that I saw during the aperitif in the hotel room. Consequently, we set off immediately and reached the river just in time for the “Blue Hour”. We barely managed to get a Blue Hour picture. But not a bombastic Irish sunset.

p.s. I run the risk of being labelled as a sleepyhead and confessing: I survived Dublin without a sip of Guinness.
